A Letter to 2021

2021 was a weird year for me. A lot of growing, a lot of tears, and a lot of praying. With taking everything into account, I was able to learn a few things about how crazy life can be in just one year. In which I'm realizing that things that make each day feel like I was able to live life to its fullest potential. There are so many things that happen in which we can't control, that we as people tend to dwell on, stress over, or just be negative about. Which is an automatic reaction to have. No harm, no foul. It's natural because we're human.
However, what I've slowly begun to notice is that instead of feeling anxious in situations or things that I can't control, my life started to gradually change because I was truly able to grasp the fact that GOD HAS A PLAN. That's right. And I know it's silly to say because it's hard to see God's plan right in front of our eyes when we're fighting a battle, but let me tell you something... When we truly believe it and live the life that God wants us to, we're then capable of comprehending in which we have no say over the negative thoughts and overwhelming anxiety (Joshua 1:9) because God already has His agenda mapped out specifically for us. With that in mind, we can be so happy, so full of life, and be such light to those around us.
I think it's the most freeing feeling to go through life knowing that the Lord has the most amazing plans, people, and journeys ahead of you. Even when life isn't all clear as day like sunshine, it's easy to create your own because you know deep down that God only takes things that you think are good to replace them with bigger and better things when you least expect it. And that trial you and I have gone through? Yeah, that was there only to make you stronger and to trust Him. Life is for relaxing, fulfilling, fun, and effortless when you allow your mind to understand whatever is happening in life to be all part of the plan.
With that being said, my wish as we go into 2022 is for all of us to let go, and give it to God. Be sure to have faith, cast them all aside, and He will handle it. Find true happiness in just being alive and love like crazy the way God wants us to. I pray and hope that you all have a blessed and fulfilled new year.
With love,
Hannah
